CAREER AFTER MBA???????

This is a doubt that concerns pretty much every student who is about to finish or have finished MBA in a not so premier institute and in search for a job .So don't worry you are not alone.
But let us be frank about it .After a deep insight of 1 year into my corporate world experience after my MBA from IBS Bangalore (which is a decent B-School by the way) I know the reality of what happens out here and what are the opportunities we hold .

Let me answer you some Direct questions:

Do we have ample, i mean sufficient opportunities ?
NO, its always survival of the fittest race on a daily bases.

Are we treated different because we are MBA grads?
NO, may be initially but it always come to your performance on daily bases again.

Can we get the RIGHT JOB at our first shot?
NO, mostly not because the expectations of a MBA student who doesn't know the world of work out there would be at sky high and can never be the same as what we will do in our first job.

Do we have a comfortable shift from a company , job roll or an industry easily if i didn't like the present job  ?
NO, that is such a difficult process that as a guy who is not yet into this world of 'stuck up in this shit' you wouldn't understand even if i explain .

Will we be satisfied with our pay after my graduation in MBA?
NO, you will not be because the value of us is very limited in corporate world.

If you continue with the same process of answering the questions in the same way ,there will be a hell lot of questions and the answer for most of them is a big NOOOOOOO....YOU CAN'T .
Now ,after all this thousands of questions that came into my mind and analyzing them , i have got only one solution for all these problems and this is a suggestions and would be of great use to all my MBA friends who are reading this article . i am gonna tell you that here because i don't want you to make the same mistakes most of us did and now struggling doing the same, what i am going to tell you now .

TIP that is never reveled in a simple way as it should have been :

Please focus on a single domain and be an expert in it , don't be a Jack of all ,master of none.

Because corporate does't have a value for such people. They only see experts in a particular domain and run behind them paying huge amounts .Your MBA does't hold a value at all if you don't have a particular domain knowledge at your finger tips.
Select a particular field which interests you and become a master in it like research, digital marketing , market analysis , organizational structure even as simple as organizing an event .... anything but make sure you become a PRO in it and people only come to you to do that stuff. Your expertise in that field will find its own place in corporate world and in your life later on .

Don't miss the opportunity of having time to get trained and be a domain expert .Because you don't wanna feel like a LOOSER right !!!

Good ideas should always create Great impacts ........

Glad to read the blog and everything u expressed here is what we actually facing

Agreeing to urs ideology and adding to it
    (I may be wrong )

my point is one's has to check out whether the campus is providing relevant to their domain or not ??

Coz if they get mastered in one domain if certain is not got for their placements they will be missed out

This is my view if am wrong please ignore

    1. I agree but every college would look out for the larger audience , where are most of them opting for and they try jobs where they can place most of them .They do so because even they have their own targets and deadlines . Unfortunately we as a student start blaming them .

A deer can never give excuses or reasons for not running away if the lion is at its ass,why ,because it will die . so i think we should stop blaming and start creating your own opportunities in life.

HOW TO FIND WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL THAT YOU NEED IS TO SEE THE INTENTIONS OF THE WRITER AND INTENSITY OF THE WRITING WHEN YOU PICK. I am seeing a lot of things these days around me which I use to hate thinking of but sort of make lot of sense now. There is clarity in my mission towards my vision. Everyone around me told me that if I am in the field which I am good at, I will be successful. But no one till this time gave a clarity of how to find out what I am good at. Don’t ever think I never asked anyone, because I did, directly to most of them. But you know what’s the answer I get “you should find out yourself .“   I said OK let’s find out, started trying out different things failed, fallen several times stud up again and kept moving. But I realized the path I took led me nowhere because most of my friends are being successful, even the once who lost hope on their lives moved ahead of me by time, and to my surprise I still don’t know what I was doing. One day around all this mess, I ...
